STEPPING OUT IN BLUES

Spring hasn’t quite sprung, but I’m practically beside myself with excitement, and recently I stepped out in “Blues.” It was such a beautiful day, a clear aquamarine sky, the light was pure and soft, and a few creamy clouds aimlessly wafted. I was wearing a 60’s vintage lace dress that had that flattering figure hugging mid-riff support that’s a gal’s salvation! I teamed it with a deep blue Zara Jacket and a delicate and intricate floral motif vintage brooch that sparkled as it caught the light. Printed black Wolford tights, River Island Shoes, and a Lulu Guinness Handbag completed my look. It was a soft and ephemeral style, that didn’t look too planned, and yet had glamour.

To me, there is something unique about vintage garments. They become “the wearer” instantly bonding with a woman in an effortlessly feminine way, enhancing her beauty and allure. Vintage has authenticity, and a one of a kind sincerity that brightens and intensifies the beauty of everything that it is teamed with.

So girls, I would like to take you on an adventure, in a weekly serious of blogs that will get you thinking, hopefully have you smiling, and perhaps influence your style choices and get you to become even more daring, and have fun on the quest. There will be lots of photos for quick and easy inspirations and I’m on hand to answer all your queries. Let's enjoy the journey. I look forward to hearing from you.
